(HARRISBURG) – Senate Majority Leader Joe Pittman (R-41) issued the following statement regarding House passage of House Bill 1219:
“I applaud the House democrats’ recognition that there are ways to use our budget surplus other than on increased spending. What the House passed is certainly a historic shift in tax policy, which is very intriguing.
“Observing the House moving from performative to substantive action is a step in the right direction. I am eager to know what the governor would do upon this legislation reaching his desk.”
