Seeking to assert the Pennsylvania General Assembly’s role regarding the Commonwealth entering into multi-state compacts and levying taxes, the state Senate today (October 27) voted to disapprove a regulation by the state Environmental Quality Board (EQB) to have Pennsylvania join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), according to Senator Joe Pittman (R-Indiana).

With unanimous votes, the Senate today (September 29) sent to the governor Senator Joe Pittman’s Senate Bill 397, which amends the Osteopathic Medical Practice Act, and Senate Bill 398, which amends the Medical Practice Act of 1985, to help physician assistants work and practice with increased efficiency in Pennsylvania.
